What the One Stop Career Center Can Do For You
This brief orientation will familiarize you with the services and resources available in the One Stop Career Center. Staff will provide information on how to access these services as well as information on Financial Aid resources.
Evaluating Your Job Search
Do you know everything you need to know about conducting a quick and successful job search? This workshop will provide tips for completing on-line job applications, job interviewing skills hints, help you identify your transferable job skills, determine your understanding of the hidden job market and learn tools to help you network in your job search. Learn how to surf the net and locate the hottest websites to help you in your job search.
Labor Market Information and You
Information is power! This portion of the workshop will teach you how to use labor market information for career planning and job search purposes. It will provide you with relevant, up to date information about the economy and local labor market, wage information, including the high growth occupational areas and in-demand occupations for our two counties. You will be able to evaluate how well your skills match employer's needs, and learn how to easily access additional information relevant to your situation.
