GET CONNECTED: Learn the Basics of Using a Computer & the Internet for Your Job Search
This workshop will help learn to use the basics of using the internet in your job search. Participants will learn how to get an email address, attach a resume to an email, use a Job Search Scout, post your resume on line and complete on-line job applications.

JOB INTERVIEWING SKILLS
This workshop is designed for those individuals who have need to practice their interviewing skills either because they have not been on a interview in the recent past or have had difficulty answering certain employer questions. You will view a short video on the basics of selling your skills to an employer and will get the chance to practice your interviewing style.

JOB INTERVIEWING SKILLS FOR THE PROFESSIONAL
This workshop is designed for those individuals seeking employment in highly skilled and/or professional occupations. Job interviews at this level require more than the ability to recite career goals, previous experience and education. Learn how to assess the culture of the company to which you are applying and develop strategies for fine-tuning your interviewing skills.

RESUME WRITING
This workshop will provide you with the latest techniques in resume writing. Learn about writing career objectives, highlighting your skills and accomplishments and outlining your job history. Participants with resumes should bring a copy for review.

RESUME DEVELOPMENT FOR THE PROFESSIONAL
This workshop is designed for those individuals seeking employment in highly skilled and/or professional occupations. This workshop will help you with issues ranging from the length of your resume, to the appropriate format for your occupation, to the specific skills you should be highlighting.

CAREER EXPLORATION
This workshop is designed for people who are feeling overwhelmed and confused about making a career choice. The workshop will help you review all the issues involved in making a career decision, from determining your interests, to evaluating your previous experience, to reviewing your current life circumstances. Individuals who attend this workshop will be able to make an appointment to meet individually with the Career Development Counselor.
